Students in the Cancer Biology PhD program will have the opportunity to conduct their thesis research in a laboratory of one of over 130 faculty members. GSK faculty are embedded within 12 basic and translational scientific programs and departments. Some laboratories, which are run by physician scientists are exclusively embedded within Memorial Hospital, the clinical arm of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Our faculty conduct innovative research related to solving problems in cancer science and fundamental biology.
