I obtained my MD degree in Keio University (Japan), where I was working as a gastrointestinal oncologist. I also obtained my PhD degree where I worked on the reconstitution of cancer phenotype using genetic and chromosomal engineering in human-derived organoids. As an oncologist and as a cancer biologist, my next goal is to tackle the question on the mechanism of metastasis which forms the essential factor of cancer. I enjoy traveling, and drinking coffee.
